The CBSE Board has released a significant update regarding the re-evaluation and verification process. So far, 40,000 students have applied. Find out the deadline and essential rules here.
The re-evaluation and answer sheet verification process initiated by the CBSE Board is witnessing strong participation from students. According to the Board, by the morning of June 3, approximately 40,000 students had successfully submitted their online applications without encountering any major difficulties. CBSE states that the portal is functioning smoothly and is being continuously monitored to ensure convenience for the students.
40,000 Students Have Applied
According to CBSE, a large number of students are applying for re-evaluation and to check for potential errors in their answer sheets. The Board reported that, to date, approximately 40,000 students have successfully completed the application process. This indicates a growing demand among students for transparency regarding their examination results.
Multiple Payment Options Available
The Board has clarified that students do not need to open an account with any specific bank to deposit the application fee. Payments can be made via UPI, Net Banking, Debit Cards, and Credit Cards. Payment gateways from various banks have been made available to students to ensure that the payment process remains hassle-free.
Portal to Remain Open Until June 6
CBSE launched the online portal for re-evaluation and verification on June 2. Students may submit their applications until the night of June 6, 2026. The Board has explicitly stated that no applications will be accepted after the deadline, and there is no provision for offline applications.
Issues Students Can Report
If a student identifies any discrepancies in their scanned answer sheet, they may file a complaint. This includes issues such as missing pages, the absence of supplementary sheets, omitted graphs or maps, blurred scanned copies, or the uploading of an incorrect answer sheet.
What is the Fee?
A fee of ₹100 per answer sheet has been fixed for checking technical or other errors within the answer sheets. Additionally, for the re-evaluation of any specific question, students will be required to pay a fee of ₹25 per question.
Students Must Keep These Points in Mind
The CBSE has advised students to thoroughly verify all details before submitting their applications. Once an application has been finalized (frozen) and payment has been made, no further changes of any kind can be made to it. An application will be considered successful only after the online payment process has been completed.
Aadhaar Verification is Mandatory
With security in mind, the Board has implemented an Aadhaar-based login and verification process. To apply, students must log in to the portal using their Aadhaar number. The Board believes that this measure will help curb fraudulent activities.
The CBSE stated that there were recent attempts to compromise the portal; however, the technical teams successfully managed the situation and ensured that services remained operational. Furthermore, several technical enhancements have been implemented to facilitate a smoother experience for students.
