The second round of NEET PG 2025 counseling has begun, and the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) has released the seat matrix for this round. The MCC has clarified that candidates who did not secure a seat in the first round or who wish to apply afresh for All India Quota (AIQ) seats will be required to apply online between December 5th and 9th.
Candidates must file their choices according to their preferences. The choice filing process will be open until 11:55 pm on December 9th. Candidates can then lock their preferences from 4 pm to 11:55 pm on the same day.
The results of this round will be announced on December 12th. According to data available with the MCC, a total of 26,889 candidates secured seats in clinical and non-clinical courses in the first round. Among the top courses in the first round, MD General Medicine was the most popular choice, followed by MD Radiodiagnosis and MD Obstetrics and Gynecology.
