Opportunity to Work Across 25 Departments

This initiative has been launched under the 'LG Youth Internship Program.' Ladakh's Lieutenant Governor, Vinai Kumar Saxena, inaugurated the 'Zhabstoke Ladakh Youth Internship' portal. Under this scheme, selected youths will get the opportunity to intern with various government departments of the Ladakh administration. Candidates will be assigned to departments based on their skills and interests. During the internship, they will gain an understanding of government office operations and observe firsthand the process of translating policies and proposals into ground-level plans and projects.

Monthly Stipend of ₹5,000 for Three Months

The Ladakh Youth Internship program is designed for an initial duration of three months. During this period, selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹5,000. The internship is scheduled to commence on September 17, 2026. High-performing interns may be granted an additional three-month extension, subject to their performance during the initial internship period. Participants who complete the program will also be awarded an internship certificate.

The registration process for interested candidates began on August 22. The last date to submit applications is September 5. Subsequently, document verification for candidates will take place between September 6 and September 14. The internship will commence on September 17.
